Berry Banana Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or plant-based yogurt for a vegan option)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter (optional for extra protein)
  • 1 cup almond milk (or your preferred milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker texture)

Instructions:

  1. Add the banana, frozen berries, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, almond butter, and almond milk to a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and add honey or maple syrup if desired for extra sweetness.
  4. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
